　　Extron MTP U Series 通用微型双绞线接收器可通过一条 UTP 电缆接受范围广泛的视频格式以及 RS-232 或音频信号，从而在复杂的双绞线矩阵切换应用环境中大大节省成本并提高性能.

　　通过一些高级功能（包括能够将传入的 UTP 信号自动路由至适当的视频、音频和 RS-232 输出连接器），系统只需为每部显示器使用一个接收器、一根电缆和一路矩阵切换器输出。 MTP U 系列通用型接收器与 Extron MTPX 和 MTPX Plus 系列微型双绞线矩阵切换器以及所有 MTP 系列的发送器完全兼容。紧凑的设计适合安装在任意位置：设备机架内、办公桌下或靠近显示设备均可。

　　自动信号格式检测

　　MTP U 系列通用型接收器可以自动检测输入的视频信号的 UTP格式，以及任何输入的音频或 RS-232 控制信号。随后，输入的信号将被路由至合适的输出连接器上。任何时候都只能有一个视频输出连接器处于活动状态。其它的视频连接器都将被屏蔽。对于将显示设备设置为自动检测模式的应用而言，这是一个非常理想的特性

　　在与 Extron MTPX 和 MTPX Plus系列微型双绞线矩阵切换器配合使用时，MTP U 系列通用型接收器能够使系统集成更加简便，并且避免了其它双绞线解决方案中通常会出现的诸多棘手问题。
