Extron MTP transmitters and receivers are part of the family of economical, compact products designed for easy integration into new and existing AV environments. MTPs can be used with any CAT 5, 5e, or 6 twisted pair cable or Extron Enhanced Skew-Free™ AV UTP cable for cable runs of 1,000 feet (300 meters) or more. MTPs are compact so they fit just about anywhere: in racks, under tables and desktops, or next to a projector.

There are three models of one input composite video MTP - Mini Twisted Pair transmitters in a one-eighth rack enclosure:
The MTP T CV is a composite video only model
The MTP T AV offers composite video with stereo audio on a captive screw connector
The MTP T AV RCA is a composite video model with stereo audio on RCA connectors
All MTP transmitters are powered products and provide active balanced transmissions for both video and audio. There are also front and back LED power indicators for easy troubleshooting.
